Refunds

Refund and Returns Policy

Return/Refund requests must be received with 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return/refund, your item must be undamaged with no visible sign of wear. Item must be in the original packaging and all original tags must be included.

Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards

  • Personalized items

  • Commissioned pieces that are too personal to be resold

Please be able to provide proof of purchase if needed.

Only partial refunds may be made in these circumstances:

  • Items not original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds

If you believe your refund is late or missing, please, first check your bank account. If it is not there, then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time between the credit card company issuing a refund and posting to your bank account.

Sale items

Refunds cannot usually be issued on sales items.

 

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. We will exchange it for the same item, or similar item of the same value. Send us an email at birchhavenstudio@gmail.com and send your item to: 237 Parkhurst Siding Road, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, even if a refund is initiated by the receiver, the refund will still be issued to the original purchaser.

 

Shipping returns

Refunds will not be issued until we receive your item, therefore refund times vary based on shipping time.

To return your product, you should mail your product to: L. Cote, Birch Haven Art Studio, 237 Parkhurst Siding Road, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.

You will be responsible for paying return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we cannot guarantee the shipper’s service.

Shipping

Shipping

Items are shipped Monday through Wednesday. We are not able to ship items Thursdays or Fridays or on holidays or weekends.

Currently we are only shipping within the United States. Shipping cost will be calculated at the time of checkout.
