Hi. I’m Lynn.
Thanks for popping in. I’m happy that you found me, the proverbial needle in a haystack; one artist in a sea of artists on the world wide web. Do you love flowers, nature, gardens and art as much as I do? We are kindred spirits.
I paint and draw flowers and landscapes with a joyful vibe so you can bring a sliver of nature, wild and whimsical, into your personal space. Nature is so good for the soul.
Who am I? In a nutshell, I’m a creative, peace loving soul, an artist and a nature lover. A creator inspired by beautiful things.
Where am I? I live and work in Northern Maine, United States. My studio is situated close to my gardens and landscapes that I paint, so inspiration is never far. I chose graphite for this work in order to enhance the beauty of the details, the inner workings of the flower’s center, the lines in each petal, the moodiness of light as it envelops the subject. This sensual beauty will infuse your home with an air of love and mystery.
A cozy gathering of pumpkins and gourds, autumnal, earthy, and grounded, this elegant graphite drawing captures the natural beauty of the harvest season. Harvest is a time to be thankful for the bounty and for those who grow, nurture and harvest our life sustenance.
Everytime I draw a birdhouse, I have a friend that asks, “Is there a bird in there?” This is a tribute to her. Birdhouses are a treasured part of my garden. They invite contemplation as I reflect on the life nature surrounds us with. They bravely withstands the landscape in all seasons.

Merchants on the Corner

If you find yourself in downtown Presque Isle, Maine (my hometown), you can find some of my work displayed in a quaint little shop on the corner of Academy and Main Street called “Merchants on the Corner.” It is a fun, eclectic shop with a hometown, artsy, crafty vibe. I’m honored to be invited to have my work in this space and to share my work with a community that I love.
